The JCPA Delegates Assembly is the highest deliberative body on public policy matters, made up of representatives from Jewish Community Relations Councils (JCRCs) and Jewish national agencies that are members of JCPA.
The Delegates Assembly oversees and set new policy positions for the community relations field through the resolutions process. It is also charged with educating, advocating and mobilizing the community relations network on major issues of the day and responsible for identifying emerging issues and developing recommendations for action.
The Delegates Assembly is the unique space that brings together the diverse Jewish community to grapple with today’s pressing issues. It aims to be: representative, inclusive, streamlines, and interactive.
Every JCRC and Jewish national agency has two official reps: one professional and one lay, though more are welcome to participate. JCPA convenes the Delegates Assembly 2-3 a year, as well as on an emergency basis if needed.
